The exhibition titled 2.5D, curated by Murat Germen, will be held at YUNT from September 21 to December 6, 2024. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the universe of two-and-a-half dimensions, a method of representation situated between two and three dimensions, focusing on the distinctive feature of two-and-a-half dimensions: the illusion of depth.

In 2.5D, the multiple "ways of seeing/transmitting" that Murat Germen employs in his art practice when perceiving space is revealed in the curatorial narrative he presents. The narrative guiding the exhibition is inspired by the approach found in Germen's photographs, which "directs the viewer to construct other dimensions in their perception." This approach is reflected in the emphasis on spatial features that enable the illusionary effects created by the works in the exhibition.
